We are a church that values worshipping and learning together!

Each week, families remain together at the beginning of the service for worship. As part of our intergenerational service, storytellers and puppet friends share Bible stories as part of the main service. Then, children are dismissed to the lobby where their small group leaders meet them and escort them to the lower level for additional activities and learning. Children are also welcome to remain in the sanctuary during the message with their families and/or caregivers.

At kidSPACE we:

  • Encourage kids to know and trust Jesus,
  • Nurture an everyday faith,
  • Support parents and caregivers, and
  • Empower the next generation to know their value in the church.

Check-in & Pick-up

FOR PRESCHOOL-GRADE 4: Check-in opens 15 minutes prior to the start of the service and in the main lobby at the kidSPACE counter. After sermon time, parents and caregivers will pick up kids in their downstairs classroom.

Small Groups

A place for kids to connect with each other, their leaders, and God through fun and creative activities.

  • Toddler & Preschool
  • Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
  • 3rd & 4th Grades
  • 5th & 6th Grades

Monthly Small Group Routines

  • Week 1: Children remain with their families and have access to special activities and/or simple craft projects.
  • Week 2: Small groups gather in our downstairs classrooms during sermon time for lessons and activities.
  • Week 3: Multi-age movement and prayer time in the gym for grades K-4. Toddlers & Preschool meet in room
  • Week 4: Small groups gather in our downstairs classrooms during sermon time for lessons and activities.
  • Week 5: Small groups gather in our downstairs classrooms during sermon time for lessons and activities.

A Safe Environment

Your child’s safety is very important to us. At Millersville Church, we have a child protection policy that ensures at least two volunteers will be with your child at all times. Each volunteer has completed a criminal background check and a child abuse clearance.

We are here to encourage kids to know and trust Jesus – and to nurture an everyday faith.
